Work to a plan

Planning always helps!

Why plan?

Follow your gut instinct, but doing so with some semblance of a (business) plan will always help:

  1. Many entrepreneurs tend to just skip the planning and analysis phase, relying on their gut instinct to launch a product they believe can outmatch their competitors. A word of caution,…

  2. … You may not have very many resources, and the time you spend on research may seem costly, but why should you expect your own business to succeed without a plan to make it happen? Have some kind of plan!

  3. A plan, if anything, will have forced you to do some useful and relevant work: market research, identifying the competition, a better assessment of your strengths and weaknesses, and opportunity to clarify (and/or modify), your business’s own goals and objectives!
