Company Tax

Here we explain what needs to be done about Company Tax.

What you need to do with Company Tax

We won’t go into the detailed specifics on this type of Tax, except to say, that annually, your company will also need to pay this tax after filing a Corporation Tax return. This is a form you will need to complete, that calculates the tax your Company needs to pay on any profit it makes.

It is not an easy form to complete – it’s long and complicated, and often the profit figure that needs to be calculated for Corporation Tax, is not the same as the profit figure that will be shown in your company’s management accounts. There are various adjustments that you have to make to the accounting figure in your accounts to get to the adjusted one needed to calculate Corporation Tax.
